Mark joined the Community Foundation in 2012 as its Development Officer.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Mark practiced law for several years and most recently worked in a bank trust department. Mark has been on the board of the local bar association and the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. Mark is a member of various musical organizations in the community, including the Windchill Brass and the North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College and William Mitchell College of Law.
Mark and his wife, Theresa Smith, live in Duluth.
