Bio

Ms. Jennifer S. Maddox serves as President & CEO of the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama. The mission of the Foundation is to wisely assess needs and channel donor resources to maximize community well-being. The Foundation has assets of approximately $37 million and serves nine (9) counties including Calhoun, Clay, Cleburne, Cherokee, DeKalb, Etowah, Randolph, St. Clair, and Talladega.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

A native of South Bend, Indiana, Ms. Maddox has taught at Brown Mackie College as an Adjunct Faculty member, at the University of Notre Dame as a Computer Instructor, and for ABATE of Indiana as a Certified Motorcycle Safety Instructor. She has also taught local classes on a variety of topics including “Developing Capable People” and Standards for Excellence®.

She is currently a member of the Women’s Executive Network, the Junior League of Anniston/Calhoun County, and First United Methodist Church of Anniston. A graduate of Leadership Calhoun County Class of 2013, she is also a board member of the Anniston Noon Rotary Club, board member and programs committee chair of Alabama Giving, and 2nd vice president of the Cardinal Foundation for Gadsden State Community College. Most recently she served on the Steering Committee for the City of Anniston Strategic Plan. Jennifer is also the President of the Rocky Hollow Neighborhood Association—home of the historic Woodstock 5k Race.

Jennifer and Mark Stevens have been married for 10 years. Jennifer has a history of community service for over 40 years including volunteering and serving on numerous not-for-profit boards. She is passionate about community foundations and how they can benefit the people and communities they serve.
