Laura T. Godine is Senior Director of Professional Advisor Relations at the Boston Foundation. Since its founding in 1915, the Boston Foundation and its donors have made close to $1.5 billion in grants in virtually every area of community life. In her role at TBF, Laura partners with Greater Boston's investment professionals, attorneys, accountants, and other trusted advisors, toward the shared goal of enhancing the impact of their clients' philanthropic giving strategies.
Prior to joining the Boston Foundation, Laura practiced as a Trusts and Estates attorney at Steffensen, Fleming and Associates, LLC, in Boston, from 2006 to 2014. Her legal practice focused on strategic analysis and planning of taxable and nontaxable estates for individuals and family groups, and managing all aspects of estate settlement and trust administration.
Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Brandeis University, and her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law.
