As the Communications Specialist, Danielle works closely with Angie Berzonski to advance foundation communication efforts. This includes writing for the website and printed publications, maintaining social media platforms and coordinating events. Danielle joined the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies following her time as a news reporter for WTAJ News. She spent eight years in the news industry and is happy to be serving in her new role at the Foundation to share the inspiring stories of donors and grantees. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. Danielle and her husband Ryan, co-owner of Kaza Fire Equipment, have one daughter, McKenzie Reece, and a Yorkshire Terrier, Charlie. They enjoy spending family time together, traveling, and cooking.
