    Hi,

    We are hoping to do some board development around DEI next year. Has anyone implemented this with their board members? What kind of development did you focus on / did you use an outside organization to help build it? Thank you for the information!

    Hi Elizabeth,

    We used David Moore with Moore Strategic and can't recommend him enough. My CEO worked with him previously at our local YWCA and have been working with him the past year on our strategic plan and how to live in our mission, which involved a lot of DEI work. He is working with a few different for and nonprofits including community foundations. David is a white man but has a way of speaking that our board members really understand and trust, and pairing him with another consultant specific to DEI is also great. He has a way of "connecting the dots" without being performative that our team has really appreciated. Let me know if you would like me to do an e-intro with David.

    We are in the process now and have been using We-Collab for our equity-based DEI work for our staff and board. Our board had their first introduction/training yesterday.
