Laura Jensen joined the Bartlesville Community Foundation in 2017 and currently serves as the executive director.
Jensen came to the BCF with six years of banking experience, spending those years building relationships within her communities and with her customers.
During her career with the Bartlesville Community Foundation, Laura has been dedicated to advancing the organizations strategic plan which focuses on for key pillars to affect community impact; Board & Organizational Governance, Community Leadership & Involvement, Raising Community Awareness & Collaboration, Gift Planning & Asset Development. In 2023, Jensen lead the organization to achieve accreditation through the National Council on Foundation’s, guided the organization through its 25th anniversary year where it surpassed $25M in assets and successfully launched and completed a capital campaign that moved the BCF to its fully renovated new home.
Jensen has been recognized by her peers as an Under 40 Emerging Star and is a graduate of Leadership Bartlesville Class 27. She has served as a volunteer for many local organizations including Bartlesville Rotary Club, Run the Streets, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Oklahoma, Washington County Elder Care, and Young Professionals of Bartlesville. In addition to local organizations, Laura has or does serve on boards and commissions for the City of Bartlesville including, Bartlesville Redevelopment Trust Authority, Keeping Bartlesville Beautiful Committee, and Board of Adjustment.
Academically, Jensen earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Gerontology from Kansas State University, as well as a Master of Science in Business Administration from Rogers State University.
When Jensen is not working, she is spending time with her young family.
