McQuillin Murphy is a sophomore at Penn State studying international politics and geography. Originally from Bernville, Pennsylvania, McQuillin has developed a passion for world cultures. Recently, he and his twin brother traveled to all of Europe’s microstates in a three week period; in total he has been fortunate enough to visit over twenty countries around the world. Aside from traveling, McQuillin loves to sing in the University Choir, collect old maps and globes, and give tours of Penn State as a Lion Ambassador.
McQuillin is a former member of the Berks County Community Foundation's Youth Advisory Committee and even led a group delegation to the Russian National Foundations Conference. When in State College, he advises a youth philanthropy advisory committee, Centre PACT, at the Centre Foundation. He interned in the Global Philanthropy program at the Council in the summers of 2015 & 2016.
