Heather C. Diehl, RP, is the Executive Director for Board Relations and Governance for the San Antonio Area Foundation. Previously she served as the Grants Program Manager for Mission de Vida Services that included board support for five private family foundations. She currently serves as the 2023-2024 Texas State Association of Parliamentarians (TSAP) Treasurer and past TSAP roles included 2021-2022 Bylaws Committee Chair and 2023 TSAP Convention Credentials Chair. In 2021 she received the Registered Parliamentarian (RP) designation from the National Association of Parliamentarians and is a member of the Bell Parliamentary Unit.
She holds a master of education degree from George Mason University and a bachelor of arts degree from Michigan State University. Her volunteer interests include Owl Radio (Low Vision Resource Center) where she reads the local newspaper for a visually impaired audience. Her passion is to leave the world a better place than she found it. She and her husband J.F. Bierlein live with three spoiled indoor cats and multiple feral cats in northeast San Antonio, Texas.
